Pedro Mesquida es el nuevo presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Empresarios del carrer dels Oms, en sustituci\u00f3n de quien ha sido su presidente desde 1983, Mateu Martorell, que a sus 93 a\u00f1os pasa a ocupar el cargo de presidente de honor.<\/p>\n
Entre los temas sobre la mesa destaca la petici\u00f3n de retirar las jardineras situadas al principio y al final de la calle, que seg\u00fan los comerciantes act\u00faan como una barrera que impide la visibilidad del carrer dels Oms. Sobre este asunto se ha realizado una recogida de firmas que pide su retirada y que ya est\u00e1 registrada en el Ayuntamiento de Palma.<\/p>\n
Otras dos prioridades de la asociaci\u00f3n son la reivindicaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s limpieza, m\u00e1s presencia policial y m\u00e1s promoci\u00f3n de esta emblem\u00e1tica calle de Palma.
